Description

"ADIE" is a product family of tiles with a three-dimensional surface. They can be used both in the context of architecture as facade cladding and indoors as wall covering. In this work, the function of beauty in design and its ability to transform our environment played a leading role. The aim was to create something that is simply "just" beautiful. Things that correspond to the general perception of beauty served as a source of inspiration for the designs: Water, flowers, the sky and other natural phenomena. These were abstracted, translated into seamless reliefs and further developed into three different modules. All three designs were prototyped in a small series.
