Description

Bing! is a tool/toy that enables everyone to visually compose and play melodies. Tuned and coloured aluminium rods can be freely arranged and intuitively played by a sliding mallet. It aims at playfully opening up music composition to everyone, especially those without prior musical education. This project combines the research of my master's thesis on how humans play in order to learn with my personal passion for musical instruments.
