Description

Originally intended for military use with regard to sight protection, the broad-meshed net is designed to be thrown over various objects or an arbitrary area in the room. If guests arrive unexpectedly, the net can be thrown to hide disorder, quickly rendering it invisible. The fabric is formed to tubes around ropes, which can be smocked/gathered. These strings of tube chains and the smocking give the net a certain physicality.

The camouflage net is part of Butternuttens project „The Principles of Hiding", which was commissioned by Kvadrat for „My Canvas Project".
