Description

Wooden rails can be found in hardware shops all over the world: decorative elements, each adhering to the standard of its country of origin. Small digital libraries of these local standards could be made and programmed and cut from open source furniture components. By sliding in local rail designs — with an almost folklorish touch — furniture shelves with different functions can be created. Designed for Opendesk as part of a project in collaboration with Ineke Hans.
