Description

fassbar (tangible) was created through an interest in the movement of the body. Sign language enables communication through movement and thus captures the world in a collection of explicit gestures. Like any language, it differs from country to country. The four vases visualise the different language signs (de,en,fr,es) of the term "vase". Movement becomes form, gesture becomes object. Visual perception is transferred to haptic senses. The gesture becomes tangible.
