Description

Children with parents with different cultural roots are often seen as particularly beautiful. Can this social phenomenon be transferred to product and furniture design?
Kulturhybrid 1 is the first in a series of objects based on the combination of analyzed characteristics of different design cultures: traditional Japanese joinery were used for the frame feet, the Thonet weave with stretched cotton-straps functions as seat, and is woven from felt to form cushions.
