Description

Moorwerk represents the tradition of northern German moor culture of the 18th century. A new natural process accelerates the millennia-long process of bog oak formation. The reaction between the iron-bearing moor water and the tannic acid of the oak causes the wood to turn deep black. The design of the furniture is based on the round post chairs typical of this region at that time. As an identity anchor, they stand for the further development of North German cultural awareness.
