Description

Nomad is a portable lamp that rethinks solar charging for indoor use. Turning the ambient luminaire over switches between the two modes: solar charging and ambient lighting. This new routine of solar charging is supported by a subtle LED display on the bar, which visualizes the light quality in a room. By moving around, the solar potential of a room can be explored. As an autonomous object, Nomad uses solar energy, a sustainable resource, and makes it usable on a small scale for indoor use.
