Description

A single piece of acrylic glass is formed into a monolithic piece of furniture.
Heated along precisely defined folding lines, the otherwise solid material becomes malleable and can be folded into the desired shape. Through the process of folding the thermoplastic material, form manifests itself as frozen movement.
Rather than conventionally folding every edge step by step, all folds are achieved in a single motion. As a consequence, the formed folds are interlinked, thus giving the bench its stability.
