Description

Plænter represents a natural forestry in Germany - the so called „Plenterwirtschaft“. The main difference to the common forrest management is, that the forrest stays naturally young and only individual trees are cut down. As a consequence of the slow growth in the trees youth the quality of the wood is extraordinarily good and in particular very sturdy. These characteristic properties of the material inspired me to design a solid wooden chair with unique filigree features.
