Project Void is an exploration of vacuum. In various series of experiments, the quality of vacuum as a connecting and design element is examined. The result of these experiments is an experimental piece of seating furniture. The rods of the framework are positioned through recesses and firmly connected to each other by vacuum. The textile simultaneously stretches the seat and backrest and defines the design. In this way, the vacuum creates a temporary, yet secure connection.
