Description

Inspired by reinforced concrete structures, the RS02 Shelf is erected from threaded rods and 8-mm-thick steel plates. This extreme, almost violent composition is an exploration of the radical simplicity generated by primary assemblages. Standardised rods are cut in half and fixed through four passivated steel plates, creating a seemingly brutal object. From up close, the plates reveal an array of colours that contrast with the apparent roughness of the shelf, resulting in a raw yet refined object.
