Description

Sneature is a biodegradable sneaker. For the design of the shoe, waste materials were upcycled and integrated into a biological material cycle. The use of additive manufacturing methods enables both customisation to the user and production on demand with the lowest possible energy input. The sneaker is reduced to three minimal components: a membrane, a transition area and a sole. After use, Sneature is biodegradable and can be returned as nutrients to the natural material cycle.
