Description

The starting point of this project was the traditional craft of  basket weaving. We learned the basics of this vanishing technique in a brief workshop. Our design process focused primarily on the use of rattan. The room divider is composed of banded rattan elements. Some parts of the frames are interwoven with textiles, some with leather. This project was inspired by the form and colours of a sport court.
