Trio is a three-part, self-supporting kitchen, which is pared down to the essential elements of cooking. Denser housing and smaller living spaces change peoples’ needs, values and beliefs about housing. This leads to new living concepts in which different (living) spaces arise or merge. Trio is a result of these changes. Detached from architectural conditions, it means you no longer require a dedicated room for your kitchen because any room can be used as a kitchen.
