Pöttinger combines algorithms-aided design with traditional craftsmanship to create a unique daybed with a wave-shaped surface.
The floating geometric structure references the natural landscape of the Bregenz Forest, but also showcases the innovative use of modern technology in handicraft. Pöttinger and Mohr Polster worked closely together throughout the manufacturing processes to arrive at the precise shape of the body — forming waves which encourage the user to curl up in their organic forms.
