Description

Y3 is a series of lamps which can be effortlessly altered to any conceivable angle. Its key mechanism is three spring-loaded cords, holding the lamp‘s pole in place whilst creating an orchestrated movement of the springs. This way, the user obtains a direct understanding of the cause and effect relationship embodied in Y3‘s functioning process. In essence, Y3 picks up the shape of a classic floor lamp and extends it with its playful mechanism.
