Exhibition 2023

We are pleased to announce that this year Tableau will be responsible for the exhibition design of one&twenty. Julius Værnes Iversen, founder of Tableau, drew inspiration for the exhibition design from the architectural language and building materials of Milan. The exhibition will be on display from April 17 to 23, 2023, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2023 in Milan.

TABLEAU is a multidisciplinary creative studio and gallery. Founded as a flower shop in Copenhagen in 2018 by florist Julius Værnes Iversen, the studio works to deconstruct established ideas of design. Alongside its gallery that promotes emerging artists, TABLEAU designs objects, sets, interiors and architectural installations. Their approach is to source collaborators globally to break down barriers between art and design. Past work includes projects for Tom Dixon, Vogue, and Copenhagen Contemporary amongst others.

Boris Peianov is an architect and visual artist based in Copenhagen. Currently he heads concept development in architectural design and installations at TABLEAU. With a background within BIM for architectural restoration, he has previously worked and studied in Copenhagen, Milan and Belgrade. Boris Peianov, co-designer of the design and project manager for the Milan exhibition, is enthusiastic about the works of the winners: "These are exciting projects - that's exactly the kind we would also show in our own gallery.
