Description

The HWIM collection is designed from a single steel plate using a conventional bending technique to accommodate various furniture typologies. The word « Hwim » means « bent » in Korean. The concept is to optimise the material use of the steel plate in a minimal form. Each steel plate becomes a chair and a stool. HWIM chair is a chair or one-sided armchair depending on the sitting posture. The HWIM stool is a rotatable stool that could be utilised as an indoor/outdoor side table or stool.
