Production system for open source hardware. Open source and economic efficiency are not mutually exclusive. To illustrate this, we have designed a conventional industrial product - a hoover - that can be produced in three different levels of complexity. Both private and commercial players can manufacture Opencyclone. The blueprints are available in three levels - DIY, Advanced and Professional - and can be downloaded from os-systems.eu.
